Dear Diary

This page is not my real diary!!! So if you thought "Oh yes! I get to read Hailey's deepest darkest secrets when I hardly even now her!!!", you thought wrong. Because this isn't my diary. It's more of a story I'm writing. It's going to be in the FORM of a diary.
So there's this character named Kat who has all this drama going on in her life, so she has a diary where she writes all her thoughts down and things like that. I know, my summary is kind of- it sucks! But the story is great. And that's a promise. If it's not great, oh well. Hope you like it!

                            DEAR DIARY

                                                                  by Hailey

                      7/7/17 Friday

         Dear Diary,

I hate summer. It's boring! We're just sitting around doing nothing when we're really supposed to be getting ready to move into our new house! Finally! I don't have to share a room with my little sister anymore! She makes a mess everywhere. Today I stepped on a lego! You wouldn't believe how much it hurt! I am so happy to get my own room and not having to worry about deadly little legos everywhere! I love my sister and all, but she needs to learn to get organized.
On a way happier note, we had dad's famous pulled pork sandwiches with BBQ sauce! Best lunch I've ever had in a while! I just love it so much!
On another less happier note, our house got egged last night. So I heard noise coming from outside while I was reading under the covers. I thought "Oh it's nothing. It's always noisy in our neighborhood". So I just went back to reading under the covers. By 3 a.m. I went to sleep. A few hours later, sunlight gushed out of the window above my head and poured out into the room. It was then, that I woke up. I couldn't open my eyes at first because it was so bright in me and my sister's room. When I finally fully woke up, I checked my phone which was on the bedside table. I could see my sister drooling out of the corner of my eye. I put my phone down and jumped out of bed. I hummed to a song I had stuck in my head. Our dog Fifi bounded towards me and I could tell immediately she needed to take a poop. So I shuffled to the garage, Fifi following my footsteps. Fifi is blind in her right eye so she has trouble seeing things clearly. I opened the garage door with a squeak and grabbed Fifi's leash with cupcakes on it and attached it to her pink collar. As soon as I put the collar on, Fifi ran and dragged me out of the garage. Finally coming to a stop, Fifi halted and chose a spot in the grass to do her business. And that's when I noticed a very strange smell. Not to mention, the bright sun shining in my eyes so that I could hardly see anything. Okay, that smell was really bothering me... No it wasn't my dog's terds. I think. When Fifi was done, I went back into the garage grateful for the shade. "But wait. I could've sworn I saw something on the outside of our house." I went back out, not happy to be in the heat again. I looked at the spot where I saw the peculiar unknown substance on our house. Uh-oh. No. "It can't be NOOO we got egged!!!" It was because of me. All because of me. I dropped my dog's leash and yelled until mom and dad came out. "What is wrong with you Kat? There are people sleeping around here. So were we until you woke us up. You're groun- WHAT IS THAT?" mom yelled. "It's an egg we got egged. There's more around the house too..." my dad realized. We all ran inside and got cleaning supplies and marched back out.
It took us FOREVER to clean it up. We pretty much went through all the sprays, towels, and bleach. When we were finally done, I was sweaty from top to bottom. I was also mad at whoever did this. I was going to get my hands on them. Dad, mom , and I went back inside and closed the garage door. By then it was noon and we had lunch. I was the first one done as usual and skipped off into my bed. I texted my best friends Lissa and told her about my morning. I told her the whole thing. She asked me "How did Fifi deal with the whole thing?". Oh crap. No. No. No. No. I realized something. When I took Fifi outside. When I dropped her leash in surprise. How she- she didn't- Fifi!!! Fifi!!! I never brought her back in!!! Where are you now, Fifi?

My cats!

Meow! Hello everyone! Today, I am going to tell you about my cats. I have pictures of them too. There are only two cats I didn't get pictures of  because they're always hiding somewhere!                                                             ANDY   Andy is a very nice cat. He doesn't always like it when you pick him up or pet him. He's not shy, so he doesn't hide. He's also kind of fat. It's probably because he eats a lot, and doesn't do anything except sleep and stare at the wall. He also likes to lick windows and plastic bags. Andy doesn't bite, but he will scratch you if you try to pick him up. Andy is five years old. He is the oldest of the cats.    ...
